Maybe.
Maybe like...
20 years.. no wait, more.
I am almost 40 today.
So yes, like 33 years ago.
What I would do to pass the time, was to make up stories in my head.
I would grab a pebble, a toy car, something simple.
It did not have to have moving pieces. As long as it would fit easily in my pocket.
I could spend.
Hours.
And hours.
And hours.
Making up stories.
Interesting because now, I still do something similar.
I still imagine stories.
But my “adventures” - or whatever you want to call them - today aren’t anything fantastic.
Well, they do have some sort of fantasy to them.
The stories are about how I would like the world to be.
And, that is what I enjoy: imagining a better world.
One where…
…money is not a driver of our existence.
…where people can live plentiful.
You don’t have to have heaps of stuff.
Just have enough time to enjoy things.
Things, that are not necesarily material.
Things like a sunny day.
Things like calling a friend.
Things like having a conversation with your whanau. With your family.
Things like having time for yourself.
Yes.
Having time for those things is the most important thing in the world to me.
That is why I started Promenaid.org - to improve the economic situation of local communities by offering a weekly gamified training program with incentives, and help them become more efficient in their household consumption.
Training is boring.
So, I made it the easiest raffle in the world and called it:
Walk 7 mins,
Answer some easy questions, and
Email your ticket number to register it.
…and maybe you will learn something!
I wish you plenty of time today to enjoy life.
