The Raffle

7 minute raffle (Raffle) is a 50/50 periodic raffle based on this formula: (Raffle ticket price * Quantity of tickets) / 2 – Expenses  = Prize.

The net proceeds of the Raffle will be used to benefit different charities picked by the community, cover operating costs and salaries of staff where it is necessary to achieve an authorised purpose. Gift Collective is the fundholder for the funds through the registered charitable trust status of their fundholder entity, The Gift Trust (CC40774).

This Raffle is classified as Class 1 Gambling of the Gambling Act 2003 and does not need a Licence Number. 

Participants and Mechanics

Each Participant can get up to 1 (one) free ticket number per Raffle for each separate draw. They can access this ticket by completing a questionnaire on different physical locations and registering the ticket number by 1) writing down the ticket number on a piece of paper and 2) sending a photo of their paper with the number via email to tickets@7minsraffle.com.

Each Participant can get up to ten (10) additional ticket numbers per Raffle for each separate draw by making a financial contribution to The Gift Trust, via the Open Collective which is listed as a bill payee with all major New Zealand banks.

Participant Contribution Limit Range per Raffle: $2 - $10 (maximum) 

For each Raffle a Participant will receive:  

    The Ticket code(s),

    The date of the draw.

The Tickets:

The total number of ticket numbers offered in the Raffle is 1560 ranging from 0102 to 0439 inclusive, and paired with a respective word.

Ticket numbers are generated randomly with special system rules that make sure no two numerical codes on one line are the same.

All tickets have an equal chance of being selected in each Raffle.

The Draw

Declaration of winners will be held every Monday before noon in a live video event at the end of every raffle period at the premises of Club Mount Maunganui, 45 Kawaka Street Mount Maunganui 3116. 

Results will be declared by random selection of included ticket numbers, using a device or machine that selects entirely at random the winning tickets for each Raffle.

Results publishing the winning ticket number will be posted on Promenaid.org’s website and Facebook Page.

Should cancellation of a Draw be necessary, notification will be given on Promenaid.org’s website and facebook page with all ticket purchases to be refunded thereafter. 

The Prize

Maximum prize value is 499 NZD.

All prize winners will be contacted by email and telephone (where phone number/s are available) and notified on the day of the draw. 

Each Prize should be collected as soon as possible either as a pre-loaded Prezzy or Dosh card, and within 3 months.

Personal Data:

If a participant authorises it, their name and contact details will be retained to keep them informed about future fundraising activities in the OpenCollective Platform.

To be able to win a prize, the identity and eligibility of the Participant must be satisfactorily established. If a ticket number is drawn for the prize, sufficient evidence of the identity and eligibility must be provided to Promenaid.org within 30 days, so that the transfer of ownership can be completed. If it is not, the prize will be forfeited.

Prezzy Cards TCs:

Prezzy® Cards are issued and distributed by ePay New Zealand Limited and are subject to the terms and conditions set out at prezzycard.co.nz. Prezzy cards may be used at any merchant who accepts major credit cards, but some limitations on card use apply.

Prezzy cards cannot be used to withdraw cash, exchanged, returned for credit or redeemed for cash. All gift cards are subject to expiry after which any remaining balance cannot be used. Fees apply for certain Prezzy card services. Promenaid.org will not be responsible or liable for the actions, product and content of any merchant, or for any lost or stolen card(s) after receipt. If gift card(s) do not arrive within 13 days of being posted, Promenaid.org may, at its discretion, cancel and replace the card(s) provided an Affidavit of Lost Card is supplied within 60 days of the card(s) being sent.
